David M. Pederson
Mr. Pederson joined our firm in May, 2006. Prior to joining
our firm, he practiced commercial finance law with Chapman and
Cutler, LLP, in Chicago, Illinois, representing banks and other
financial institutions in documenting and structuring secured
and unsecured lending transaction. In addition to finance, Mr.
Pederson has experience in the following areas of law:
Banking Law:
- Representing and counseling commercial lenders and
borrowers in loan documentation, workouts and restructuring
negotiations
Business and Corporate Law:
- New business formation
- Acquisitions, mergers and sales of businesses, including
assets and stock sales
- Preparing, reviewing and negotiating business and employment
contracts
- Consulting regarding governance matters, disputes
Real Estate:
- Representation regarding the sale or purchase of real
estate
- Advising lenders and borrowers on real estate financing
- Drafting
and negotiating commercial leases
- Tax-deferred exchanges, including reverse exchanges and
involuntary conversions
Estate Planning:
- Preparation and review of wills and trust agreements
- Living wills and powers of attorney
- Special needs trusts
