Roger M. Stahl

Mr. Stahl was born in 1963 in New York City and was raised in St. Paul, Minnesota. He earned his law degree in 1991 from William Mitchell Law School, graduating magna cum laude. He moved to Rochester that same year to work as a law clerk for District Court Judge Gerard W. Ring (retired) and District Court Judge Joseph F. Wieners. He entered private practice with Dingle and Wendland, Ltd., in 1992, and has practiced law with our firm since that time.

Mr. Stahl’s practice encompasses a broad range of legal concerns, including the following:

Business and Corporate Law:

  • New business formation
  • Creating, reviewing and negotiating Buy/Sell Agreements
  • Consulting regarding governance matters, disputes
  • Purchase and sale of businesses, including asset and stock sales

Employment Law:

  • Hiring and firing issues
  • Creating, reviewing and updating of employee policy manuals
  • Writing and reviewing employment contracts

Computer, Technology and Intellectual Property Law:

  • Software licensing
  • Drafting and negotiating outsourcing contracts
  • Consulting regarding copyright and trademark issues

Estate Planning:

  • Preparation and review of Wills and Trust Agreements
  • Living Wills and Powers of Attorney

Real Estate:

  • Preparation and review of commercial and residential leases
  • Representation regarding the sale or purchase of real estate

Mr. Stahl is also a frequent speaker on business start-ups, employment and personnel-related matters.

Personal Interests:

Mr. Stahl is active with his church, First Baptist Church, Rochester, Minnesota, and currently serves on its board of elders. He is also enjoys bicycling with the Rochester Active Sports Club. He is a past President of the Board of Legal Assistance of Olmsted County and an officer with the Rochester Sertoma 1200 Service Club. When not busy with family or business commitments, he values time spent with friends fly-fishing and hunting.
